Garrit

Uncle Gerrit lived at home with Grandma and Grandpa until his death in a farming accident about 1953. Uncle Gerrit often worked for other farmers and ranchers and was in demand for his hard working attitude. He was a good truck driver and collected milk for the cheese factory in Hotchkiss. He also drove a truck for John Van Oort.
